I forged two fire strikers today. They are used with flint (ie, “flint and steel”) to make sparks for starting fire. I have been promising a friend that I would forge him one (the one on the right) and decided to make a second one since I had the forge lit. The one on the left was forged from an old file, while my friend’s is made from a hay rake tooth.
